As a Master’s prepared practicing Registered Nurse (RN) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) at The Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) GYN/OB Department, the GYN/OB Perinatal Lactation Coordinator and JHH Baby Friendly Hospital Committee Chair, Nadine provided knowledge, skills and experience to usher JHH to Baby Friendly Hospital designation and re-designation. As a member of the MD DHMH HBPR Committee, Nadine contributed to the development of the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (MD DHMH) Hospital Breastfeeding Policy Recommendations (HBPR) used at hospitals throughout the state. In her current position as Nursing Inquiry Coordinator for The Johns Hopkins Health System, Nadine builds capacity among nurses to perform inquiry projects, bringing best practices to the bedside and supporting growth among the nursing profession.
