Grecia Ferreyra, MSN, RN, RNC-NIC, IBCLC, has twelve years of experience in Neonatal Nursing. Grecia earned her Master’s degree with a specialization in Nursing Education at Capella University. She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and a Certified Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse. Grecia currently works as the Lactation Services Supervisor at Nicklaus Children's Hospital (NCH). In her role as a Lactation Services Supervisor, Grecia facilitates the Community Lactation Support Program and the Employee Breastfeeding Support Program at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. Grecia leads the Electronic Management System operations for all human milk handling across the organization. She collaborates with local governmental agencies and coordinates breastfeeding community volunteer support programs. Some of her lactation work has been shared in local radio stations, regional and international conferences. Grecia provides families with lactation support, all of which require evidence-based practices to improve quality care.
