Conference Registration Desk
The Conference Registration Desk is located in Pre-Function 1. The desk will be open at the following times:
Sunday, 13 August | 11:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Monday, 14 August | 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, 15 August | 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Exhibit Hall
The Exhibit Hall is located in the Event Center. The Exhibit Hall will be open:
Sunday, 13 August | 5:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.
Monday, 14 August | 8:00 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.

We support global access to skilled lactation care and the IBCLC profession. Therefore, speech and actions that create an unsafe space for employees, volunteers, or participants at ILCA conferences or other public forums, who are members of social groups historically or systematically targeted by systems of oppression, are not permissible.
This includes but is not limited to, engaging in oppressive language and behavior on the basis of race, sex, class, gender identity/expression, religion, sexual orientation, age, nationality, ethnicity, and ability. Should you observe such an incident, please contact an ILCA Board or Staff member.
Gender Diversity
Gender diversity is welcome at the ILCA Conference. All are welcome to use the restroom which best fits their identity. If you would prefer to use a gender-neutral restroom, one will be provided for all conference attendees on the first floor near the Florentine Gardens.
For Your Comfort
Meeting room temperatures will fluctuate, so dress in layers and bring a sweater! Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the resort. Please be mindful of those who are chemically sensitive to fragrances and other scented products. Thank you for not wearing perfume, aftershave, scented hand lotion, fragranced hair products, and/or similar products. Be aware of and make space for those who have mobility challenges. Thank you for keeping chairs and personal items out of major routes of access (e.g., aisles, walkways between tables).
Lost and Found
Do not leave personal items unattended. ILCA is not responsible for items left in meeting rooms or other areas of the hotel. All lost and found items will be handled through the Conference Registration Desk.
Name Badge Policy
Name badges must be worn for admittance to all conference events. Your name badge is proof of registration. Without it, you may not be allowed to participate in conference activities. Name badges may be picked up at the Conference Information Desk beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, 14 August.
Mobile Phones
As a courtesy to speakers and your colleagues, please turn off your mobile phone during presentations and discussion sessions. If you must have your phone on, please set it to vibrate only and leave the session if you receive a call.
Families and Babies
We support lactating families. ILCA welcomes infants-in-arms and non-separating children to our conference. We ask that you be mindful of the needs of your children while being sensitive to other conference participants. The Family/Baby room is set aside with a refrigerator and comfortable seating for families and for those who would like to express and store their milk. Please bring your own breast/chest pump.
Parents who choose to bring children to the in-person event assume all health and safety risks for their children. The Estate Boardroom, located on the first level, will be open:

Open Space
For attendees who need a quiet space for either a break, work, or place for prayer, we have designated an open space available for use. The Lago Room, located on the first level, will be open:

Meal Attendance
All conference meals (receptions, breakfasts, breaks, and lunches) are open to paid in-person attendees and exhibitors (per our exhibitor policy) only. Name badges must be worn for admittance.
Media Disclaimer
ILCA will photograph conference events. By registering for the conference, you grant ILCA permission to record, photograph, use and distribute (both now and in the future) your image, name, voice, and typed comments in all forms and all media pertaining to this conference.
Conference Taping Policy
All authors have agreed that they are presenting their intellectual property or that they have permission from the intellectual property owners to present the material. Photographing, recording, or redistributing any in-person or virtual conference presentation contents or materials, including handouts, with a digital camera, mobile phone, or any other equipment is prohibited, unethical, and illegal.
